DDR Pads

Hi, I was just wondering does anyone know how to make foam insert pads last longer cause its not really mine and im trying to keep it going but im scared that if i keep playing on heavy that the foam might flatten out or, that the sensors might get all messed up so if you konw how to maybe make it last longer please tell me.... thank you
