I can't beleive this hasn't been locked yet.
Maybe it's because Cutriss got eaten by the Jet World dancing cactus and the mods are very busy trying to covor it up by using this "he got a job" nonsence. |

I'm sorry Eric..... I bought a tx1000 and it worked for like a total of 2 seconds before the pad turned to nothing and I had to spend a year rewiring it and rebuilding it. Works good now because of the mods I made to it _________________

truth be told... I'm not worried at all if it breaks :-) You can sew companys for making a product and say it won't or never breaks for a very long time... They lied to you if they say that :-p

I'm going to guess that the web page you viewed the item on said something about you never having any DDR experience like the TX1000 will give you. This is true, you will have a horrible experience like you've never had.
So really, they were saying that it sucked and weren't being clear about it. If I'm right, then you can't sue. |

And to think I almost bought one.
Good thing DDRFreak came to the rescue! I would've been pissed. |

That might apply if the TX1000 was made in the United States, or maybe even Canada, Mexico, or Europe. But it's not. It's made in China by a company called Mayflash. Suing a Chinese company for their products would probably be extraordinarily difficult if not impossible. Companies from America, Japan, and Europe have problems with China because sleazy companies over there that make shameless copies of popular products... everything from cell phones to motorcycles to prescription drugs. They've tried to stop it before, by going through the Chinese government, but that hasn't helped at all. Suing them probably wouldn't work either, as at the first sign of a lawsuit Mayflash would probably just vanish. |

Regardless, I've been having a good time with mine that I bought last year - only thing thats gone wrong so far is that the xbox side of the control box has gone bad though, but I can still run it fine through a PS2>Xbox adapter... |

Well someone obviously modded it before it was shipped to you.
Or the DDR Gods just like you... |

Do you happen to live somewhere in the European Union? There's a very odd phenomenon where people who buy TX series pads in the United States have a terrible time with them, but people in Europe (don't mean to generalize here, I just mean people from many different European countries) buy them and they work great. This has been changing a bit, though. The TX-4000 and TX-6000 seem to be better overall than their predecessors. |
