Simfile Revamp

These packs are meant to be played on a hacked In The Groove machine. That is our main objective, to be able to play pad steps to our favorite songs on SM. These packs are meant for ITG, but you can play them at home.

You can step ANY SONG YOU LIKE. It can be a DDR song, an ITG song, and even a song already stepped and made successful by a popular simfile artist. (Reach, aperson, Exige, Zaghurim, Blurk, ect.) Make pad steps, at least one chart. These pad steps can be as hard as you want them to be, as long as they're not easier than a DDR 7 footer or as long as they're not harder than an ITG 13. Songs should be less than 2:30. We're playing these sims on pad and we can get worn out easily. Don't make it some 6 minute long death run. Maximum song length I'll accept is 3:30 and that's if the song isn't very hard.

You need new graphics for these sims. You can't use old graphics. Say if you're restepping Excel's Theme (Zagh sim), you can't use Zagh's graphics. You have to make new graphics. The graphics have to be good looking too, they're going on ITG machines, you'll want them to look good.

ALL SIMFILES MUST BE UNRELEASED. You can't submit a version 2 or 3 of a simfile. You can't submit a sim if you've already released it anywhere else. The simfiles stay unreleased until a pack/batch is released. You may then do whatever you like with it.

You can do up to 5 stepcharts, and 5 stepcharts is highly recommended. Not everybody is a god at this game, people need easier steps. The minimum is one chart, and if you have one chart, it must be heavy. I recommend that you have at least two charts. Hands and mines may be used. Rolls too if you can do it.

Send all simfiles to me via AIM/MSN. Don't email me the simfiles, I rarely check my emails.

We'll release a batch of simfiles whenever we hit 15 - 25 accepted files. We'll probably release multiple batches.
