xbox converter problems

I just got this converter:
http://www.buynshop.com/productinfo/997/VG-XBX-PS2X/

and it doesn't work with my cf to play ultramix 2. I have no idea what is wrong. Will someone tell me if there could be something I overlooked? I'm really getting frustrated since many websites say that converter works.

If you're sure it's the converter, try the Innex converter, it's only available through a seller on ebay. Or otherwise look at a CompUSA for the Game Elements Universal Gemini converter.
But before you go buying a bunch of converters, try a normal playstation control with the adapter and see if that works. Because it might be that the control box for your CF is broke.

Tried a regular psx controller and it works fine. My CF works fine though on PS2 so it isn't the cbox.

Actually, I just talked to my friend and he's having the exact same problem. I have no clue what's wrong, so please let me know if you figure it out, ok?
