I saw this at the local WalMart and laughed...

Until I saw the back and read all the common songs on it! 35 of the best country songs to grace the airwaves have hit home in this CMT sponsored KR title.

I bought it for my wife for wife day, an unofficial surprise day the day before April Fool's. She knows quite a large number of songs word for word, with Redneck Woman being her absolute favorite. In fact she typically has a hard time with KRP but she was 2 good verses from getting a Diamond after her second time singing it. I'm sure she'll be acing it next time.

For anyone who likes country music I strongly recommend this KR title.

Game currently 16% complete.

Songs my wife loves:
Redneck Woman
It's 5 o'clock somewhere
Save a horse, ride a cowboy
Suds in a Bucket (wife corrected me on this one)
Chattahoochie
I like it I love it

and many others.

I recall also seeing classics like:
9 to 5
Gambler

It's definitely a party game and not one that would usually be played alone. That said however, anyone serious about singing could definitely play these games and get something out of it. Say for those who want to become the next ____ Idol, either American or Canadian. All experts would need to do is put judging on expert and sing away their cares.

It'd be easy.

I admit to playing it, both in fact. Heck I plan to also play Beatmania when my preorder comes in.

Sore point you know.

Tried it out when a female friend of mine brought it over. 40,000+ on "I Walk The Line", couldn't Diamond it since my voice can't hit the lowest low part. Got a Diamond on "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere", then stopped playing. Good game if you like country, which I don't, so it's a mediocre game.

In fact, just look in your favourite box store for electronics and look at their Karaoke section and you'll find TONS of crap! It's quite popular. I've never owned a Karaoke machine and don't plan to; instead I'll just support Konami.

I now have 2 microphones and can play duets with my wife!

Karaoke Revolution games are awesome. E1.gif But I don't know too many country songs, so I haven't even played this one yet.
