The indisputable proof is at fastfastfastfeet.com.
And, myspace.com/shawnseamus.
You'll see....
1) Some kid's video of me on a
DDR machine. I didn't know the rules, and I did take an unfortunate fall,
but you can't deny the killer footwork. :-)
2) Me, in my studio, Irish Dancing. (DDR players: perhaps you could apply some of what you see in my videos to your next time on a DDR machine?)
Thanks for reading,
Shawn |

Yeah...so what's the deal with this guy anyway? He's obviously an enormous attention whore (as evidenced by this thread, the YouTube video where he talks about the DDR thing, and his entire website). He's clearly going to get quite a bit of negative attention from this, which I'm sure he knew when he had someone tape him. Add the fact that he's created a bogus story around it, and you've got a guy who's pretty screwed up. I suppose he could just be trying to increase the traffic to his site, but there are a lot of ways to do that without making an idiot out of yourself. _________________

... you... really sound oblivious to the fact that what you did was annoying...
Whether or not you knew the rules of DDR it's common sense not to shove people for whatever reason. Especially if you don't know them. Whatever excuse you have, I say you still owe an apology before we consider listening to you. So far, you just seem proud of coming close to injuring a random person. _________________

Meh, he knew he was being dumb. I think this video pretty much says it all. He was sad because nobody cared about his useless website, and he realized that acting like a moron would get him some attention. _________________

Shawn, I've heard of you before.
I've also seen the video. And, as such, I have some comments.
In regards to actually going about and hopping onstage uninvited, many of us DDR players take offense to that. We've had experiences in which mockers hop onto the other half of the "stage" and diddle around on their feet and wave their hands to make us look stupid in comparison. I'm sure that the DDR Players around the machine were reacting as such to your actions.
Upon your falling off, it appears that you knocked the player off the stage. He/she/they consequently failed the song. You DO know that rounds of DDR cost around a dollar in some places, occasionally higher? You cost him money with your stunt.
Your later reaction, walking off and attacking the cameraman later, is also not commendable. If you want positive criticism and appeal to the Dance Dance Revolution crowd, this is not the thing to do.
If you were to, say, freestyle with those feet on one given song, and NOT knock DDR players from their positions on the machine, then your credibility will probably improve.
And, yes, you do have fast feet. _________________

Excuse me videoCWK.
"Y'know" isn't a word.
"wan't" isn't a word either.
Please use proper english.
Regarding the video, I thought it was really stupid. Why would you post this video here anyway? You want people to dislike you?

He's got balls. I'll give him that.
See Shawn... you can't dance. Go get a job at "Bakers Square" and leave the DDR to those with functioning brain cells.
I owned you on myspace. And I'll own your buttocks here.
Oh yeah, did you get the e-mails about the gay porn and square dancing

I wouldn't be surprised if the whole video was staged - i.e. everyone (including the DDR player) knew about it and rehearsed it beforehand. Notice that the people around don't seem too bothered when he jumps on the machine, that his fall looks a little fake, and that the video conveniently ends right as the "fight" starts. _________________

You think at the age 31 you would grow out of that. But for some people, I guess not. _________________
