I'm just about to mod my ps2 so it can play JP games, and I don't know which beatmania iidx game is the best. Which ones would you recommend getting? Is there anywhere where I can see there songlists? thanx

I own 7 through 11. 10 is by far my favorite. Followed by 7 (Which has more songs suited to my skill level). The later mixes have teh prettier graphics, so i'd definietly get 10.

Hard to tell, but I say I'd wait for HAPPY SKY CS. IIDX RED's fine. And if you want the entire songlist w/ notecharts:

If you have a modded PS2 and a dvd burner, get them from the intarweb!

Seriously though, a lot of people seem to buy from Play-Asia.com, but if you get lucky you might find a good deal on eBay.

Got them all E13.gif My favourites are 6th, 10th & 11th. I don't play them often though... I'm more of an arcade guy laugh.gif

YesAsia.com, if they have what you want to import in stock, offers free shipping and usually the best prices on import stuff.

For songlists for 3rd Style to 11th Style, go to GameFAQs.

I'd get 10th or 11th (which I should get in the mail this week, w/ my Fliptop!). 10th has DoLL & 1st Samurai. 11th has the original Injection of Love!

Oh, & I can't help but mention the pics you can unlock. God, I wanna see the girls in the swimsuits!!

And also, all I can find on yesasia is iidx 11 and a crapload of soundtracks. Do they have any of the other iidx games?

According to my sources......

Sync is in 5th Style & also 7th.

Quasar is in 9th Style & can also be found in 10th.

Abyss -Heaven's Mix- is in 9th Style.

I haven't found anything about Apocolipse...

Also, uh, who has unlocked pics of the girls in their swimsuits?? riiight.gif

You should try using www.vjarmy.com/wiki very useful site. Gives you information and songlists on all home versions and all arcade versions. And I use www.play-asia.com for games. They have a lot more selection. And 7th Style has both Sync and Abyss -the heavens remix- (I'm sure of that because I just played the game yesterday).

If I were you I would either get 11th or 7th. 7th has a lot of familiar ddr songs for new players and it's also the mix I started on. 11th is super duper awesome however so it's up to you.

According to my info, the BM songs from that Style that are also on DDR are:

.59
5.1.1.
A (OMG!! 666 NOTES ON LIGHT 7!!! DUN DUN DUUNNN!!)
Absolute
Abyss
B4U
Bad Routine (None of those annoying stops)
Burning Heat (Full Option Mix)
Can't Stop Fallin' In Love
Colors (Radio Mix)
D2R (Fun fact. This song actually appeared on BM 1st, then on Max2, which came out 2 weeks later!)
Destiny
Don't Stop! (Original Mix)
DXY!
Dynamite Rave
Era (nostalmix)
Frozen Ray (Original Mix)
Happy Wedding (To think DJ Taka did this song. Aska just sung it)
Holic
I Feel...
I Was The One
In My Eyes (Xbox Songpack #1)
Kakumei
Last Message (Someone post the pic of the BG of that part that makes people mess up!)
Max 300 (A song that actually was on DDR 1st, THEN Beatmania, not the other way around!!)
Mobo Moga
Mr. T (Take Me Higher)
Nemesis (Songpack #3)
Remember You
Spin The Disk
Starmine
Still In My Heart
Stoic
Sync
The Earth Light (Is the BM version editted like the DDR version?)
Tomorrow Perfume
V (Well, DUH it's on here!)
Zero-One

So that's a total of......only 38 songs.

You mean BMIIDX? BM1 came out before DDR 1st mix E10.gif

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

It's only recent that the IIDX > DDR trend was started. It used to be where BM took songs from DDR. It was when IIDX was introduced that the flow started reversing.

That all depends on which DDR you're talking about. One is, one isn't. The one in Konamix is remixed (maybe it's a different notechart, I dunno), and the one in Club Mix is the original, and by definition, will match the BM version (since the original intent was for them to be played at the same time on both machines.

Yeah cause almost half the game is only 38. Okay lets do the same for RED.
AA (SuperNOVA)
Injection of Love (Except DDR version is quite different)
KI-SE-KI (Except DDR version is different)
Red Zone (SuperNOVA)
.59
A
DXY
Gambol
Giudecca
I'm For Real
Max300
Murmur Twins (SuperNOVA)
Nemesis
Quickening
Rainbow Flyer
The Cube

You got 16 (6 of which are in 7th even) [Sorry if I missed a few]. I'm not saying RED is bad (quite awesome infact) but I would recommend a different style if you are new to IIDX and coming from a DDR past.

And Zonic, could you please use less caps and exclamation points? It's really hard on the eyes.

Edit: And if I counted correctly, 10th style had about 15 songs that are in DDR.
