tips for faster response time on IIDX controller.

I'm fairly new to BEATMANIA IIDX and i just bought the Konami controller.
I was wondering how one can modify the controller in a way that makes the keys respond faster with just light taps.My feeble fingers cannot hit the keys fast enough on fast songs. Any tips or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

There's different mods you can use. That mod is used by ryan2dx. If you want to wait till the 28 of this month and get the american beatmania for the ps2 It doesn't require any modifying.

i will agree keys are hard to get used to and tough when you hit them lightly, im also new to IIDX. I broke my IIDX controller in and now i dont have to worry about that so just try that. Songs like Genom Screams and Brightness Darkness on 9th Style help with that.
