Didn't someone say some months back that Sho-T was fired from Konami or something?

Guess that's not true. >_>

Any song with "Boom Boom" in the song title is apparently instantly awesome.

There are FOUR Extra Stage songs, accessable only through a special selector on the songlist called the "CARDINAL GATE"*, and apparently the game throws one of the four songs out randomly.

It doesn't look like anyone's passed any of them with a high enough grade yet (or at all) to access the OMES. They looked quite difficult - the game even gives off a little warning when you select the Cardinal Gate section, asking if you're sure you want to open the Cardinal Gate.

*The songs contained in the Cardinal Gate are named after the 4 Gods of the Cardinal Directions in Chinese Mythology

The four songs are the following:

青龍 (SEIRYUU) - The Blue Dragon of the East.
玄武 (GENBU) - The Black 'Warrior' of the North. Usually symbolized by a Turtle.
朱雀 (SUZAKU) - The Red Bird of the South.
白虎 (BYAKKO) - The White Tiger of the West.

Thanks to Wikipedia for the info. Also, anyone who's watched Fushigi Yuugi would know about Suzaku and Seiryuu, as both Gods play major roles in that anime.

Actually, if memory serves, the four names you mentioned are the ARTISTS' names, not the song names.

Only three song names are known at the moment, those being Ganymede by Genbu, Contract by Suzaku, and Waxing/Waning by Seiryuu. The only one that has a genre thus far is Contract, for which the genre is Sublime Techno.

The fourth song name isn't anywhere I can find yet, but I'll be looking.

Well, when you select the Cardinal Gate, the Kanji that represents the name is what shows up in the big font, akin to where the song title would normally be. So I figure that's the song title. I think Bemanistyle has it down wrong. But who knows. They haven't actually shown up on the songlist yet, just in the Gate.

Yeah, I know, I've been trying to keep as up to date on the pics as I possibly can. biggrin.gif Honestly, I've not seen a DistorteD machine in real life, so I can easily be fooled, because I parrot what BMS says. But it happens to the best of us.

But there is one thing that makes me sure BMS is right in this:

In the movie of Ganymede Another (Genbu) on BMT, if you look at the song scroll bar, it says "Ganymede Another" in the results screen, and "Genbu Another" during the song. This is likely to keep the atmosphere around the song.

That's a personal opinion, again, take it for what it is.

Just so everyone knows, this is what the screens look like:

This is a photocollage of the splash screens before the song.

BTW, Zenius -I- Vanisher is awesome. One of the best new songs I've heard in a WHILE.

... Distorted just came out not long ago. The machine isn't much of a different although it does have a sound proof glass around it.
