|
|
I bought a brand new Red Octane Ignition 3.0 pad the other day, and I'm having an interesting problem with it.
It works perfectly on the PS2, and it even works great as an amusing ZSNES controller.
When I use DWI or Stepmania, the down arrow will work on menu screens, and in the setup screen.
When I start to play the actual game, however, the down arrow will only respond if it's the only button being pressed. If I'm standing on another arrow (which you always are), it doesn't work.
It'll work to do combos of up/left, right/left, etc, so it's not an axis issue, it's just the down button that has this problem.
I'm using Windows XP SP2...
Any ideas? |

Try re-mappaing it again. If that doesn't work, it might be the pad. _________________

But if it works everywhere else, wouldn't it have to be a Stepmania problem? _________________

Make sure your using Stepmania 3.9 rc4..
If you need updates, go to www.stepmania.com
As long as your using the newest version of stepmania, and your mapping the controller correctly, you should be fine. I have four Ignitions, and i've never had a problem with any of them not responding.
You are using the USB end peice that came with it, right? The one that you switch out the X-Box end for? _________________
