Anyone know where I can actually listen to the songs online before I buy them? Such as the xbox downloadable song packs or the ps2 DDR games?

I have Ultramix 2 and 3, and ITG. I'm interested in getting more songs, but don't want to spend the money unless I'm getting songs I like...

Stepmania is usually a good way to test songs, but then comes the moral issue if its legal or not in your opinion

Since pirating music/mp3s is illegal (and not supported on this forum), the only way to hear them is through soundtracks, other people's games, and (for some) the arcade.

For songpacks, you should probably get them anyway, they're worth the money. For PS2 DDR games, they have a lot of songs not available anywhere else, so find which ones you like the most and get them in that order.

I didn't mention pirating. I just thought the songs might be online somewhere via samples. Stuff like that is all over the internet, and not illegal.

My problem is that I don't know what songs I like from these games. I've never heard most of the music on Ultramix 2 or ITG before I bought the two.

I just don't want to spend $5 for a song pack and only like 1 of the songs. Or buy MAX2 (or whatever game), and only like 2 or 3 of the songs. I have enough DDR music I don't like too much in ITG and Ultra2 and Ultra3. I find myself skipping so many songs when I play because I only like a few songs...

I've heard of Stepmania.

i say stepmania, if you have the proper console soundtracks, some online boots, arcade, maybe I can post the mp3 for some of the songs...

btw I really recommend all the 10footers, afronova, exotic ethnic, so deep (perfect sphere remix), trip machine, drop out, b4u, a, twinbee ~generation x~, and for some people twilight zone ~r.c. extended club mix~. Yes I purposefully didn't captialize any of those songs. Replace with A, S, D, P, S, R, T, M, D, O, A, T, B, G, X, T, Z, R, C, E, C, and M.

Umm...I can hardly pass Standard 7 footers, let alone Heavy ones. I get owned by 10 footers! If you do have any songs online, send me a link E1.gif I'm mostly interested in songs in any PS2/Xbox game except UM2, UM3, and ITG (since I already have those).
