the new console DDR, DDR Strike, just came out in Japan. one of the songs on there is DoLL from IIDX 10th Style. if you have any save data from IIDX, DoLL automatically unlocks and a message comes up announcing IIDX RED CS. that is so freaking awesome!!! now i can play songs like AA and Gigadelic NOT on my computer. YAY. WOO HOO.

You get a message on DDR Strike if you have a IIDX 10th Style save (no bullshi+).

Ok just wanted to make sure. Any other details other than it's announcement? I figured it was kind of assumed and didn't know if a release date was stated.

I expect this game to come out around late summer or so.
My worry about this game: I hope I improve a lot on IIDX in the next few months, because IIDX Red has some of the hardest 7k difficulty songs yet. For example, did Scorpion Fire have to be that difficult on 7keys?
Then again, I think I am improving a bit. I kinda figured out what I need to do to pass Rainbow Rainbow 7k for example yesterday. I finally passed Colors on 7k also and improved my score on 1st Samurai 7k from C to B, but still have yet to pass.
So yeah, I hope to improve much more before IIDX Red comes out. And see more repeats from 3rd to 5th style, to take advantage of the higher speed mods. |

I have the Happy Sky soundtrack...I don't like a lot of the songs on it...
And I'm expecting RED CS to hit around May or June.

Of all the Extra Stage backgrounds in the IIDX series since 7th style, I consider GENOCIDE MODE on IIDX RED (unless of course DistorteD comes up w/ something better) to be the coolest one.

I love Xepher myself. I just don't like most of the soundtrack. There's still some great tracks on it like åä½ãã!ã¹ããã³ã°ã¤ã§ã¼ã¬ã¼!! (Ryuâ Remix), å¥, Under The Sky, Toe Jam and Votum stellarum.

This is really cool. I am going to mod my PS2 for this awhile after Beatmania USA comes out.
PS - I have an old PS2. Should I get a flip-top mod for that, or buy a slimline PS2 and mod that? (No chips...) |
