I just got out of my calc class today and stopped by the nearest best buy with some friends.

We usually just bs our time doing random stuff, and today one of the stops was Best Buy. I wandered the store and friends followed and whatnot. Then, I came across the second game section in the store (this section was less trafficked). Anyway, all bundled together in messy little sections were Xbox360 accessories and a bunch of multi-system dance pads.

This is where the $30 bucks comes in. Just to the side of everything, I saw an In The Groove bundle. It came with 2 RedOctane soft pads AND the GAME. $30 freaking dollars. Now. I already have 2 modded soft pads and another soft pad in reserve, and an ITG game borrowed from my friend. But I NEEDED to buy this.

This price was so ridiculous that I cried. I nearly creamed myself. I asked the nearest sales associate if it was the right price and proceeded to ask for a price check. Yep. Right price.

Needless to say, this poor college student isn't having lunch for a week.

Well, thats 20 dollars for the game, which is about what it sells for now (i think), and thats 5 dollars for each pad, which is about what each of them are worth.

Well, actually while I was in the Playstation 2 section, they were selling the game ALONE for $40. That's why this confused me so much. I don't really care about the quality of the pads so much, because I don't rip them to shreds in 2 seconds. My Konami soft pad has lasted me well over a year, and I usually don't play anything lower than an 8.

Point being, according RedOctane.com's prices, I just saved $70.

these pads arnt as nice as the KO pads in my opinion (and both failed to last teh two years my unmodded mad katz pads did so i might just hve weird pad experiances) so you migh tnot get as much play out of them as your expecting but 5 bucks isnt bad for each of them

and i think the 20 dollar sale of ITG was over anyway

That's a really good deal actually because the game is 40 bucks new still and each of those pads are worth about 15$ each, So u saved about 30 or 40 bucks
