From middle school boys to college-age girls, a new game, "Dance Dance Revolution" - or "DDR" in the parlance of teens in-the-know - is the video game generation’s answer to their parents’ decidedly un-cool Jane Fonda aerobics videos and their grandparents’ moldy Arthur Murray Dance Studio membership cards.

Not sure I'd consider a game that's been around since '98 to be new...

Quote:
The concept of DDR is easy, even if the execution takes practice. Four arrows on a dance pad point up, down, right or left. Corresponding arrows on the game screen light up.

Er...what?

Wonder why they chose CCRing for the pic, especially after talking about how much exercise it is.

So um, is it bad that awhile ago I was watching Family Guy, and when Quagmire came on, I thought something to the effect of "Whoa, It's AA Bob!" (I don't remember if the exact thought was "It's AA Bob" or "It's AA Bob's avatar", but I don't think it matters in this case)?

I personally would've chosen a picture of Foyboy with tons of blur effect (especially on his legs), and lens flare flying the fuck everywhere.

By the way, the age range apparently stops at college-age girls. Oh well guys, I guess we can always play ITG, PIU, or IIDX. And if you abbreviate things, you're in the know. roflolkthxbi gg nub

Yea, i must add, the fact that they claim that ddr is a "new" game really is discouraging.

....and, btw, this thread should go over yonder E7.gif
