light mode failing

one thing i dont like about stepmania is how the default fail mode for light mode is end of song. is there any way i can change this so i dont have to change the song options everytime? i want the default to be fail immediate like for standard, heavy, challenge.

Stepmania>Options>Machine Options>Default Fail Type>Immideant.
If it's already set like that try your stepmania metrics and browse around.

The game is currently hard-coded to be no harder than "Fail End of Song" for Light mode. If your "Default Fail Type" is at a harder setting (30 misses, immediate, etc.), you'll get kicked back to "End of Song".

Currently, the only way to have a different fail mode through the UI is to go into the song settings with the game round starts (hold Start when prompted after song selection).
