Well this morning I woke up to Taiko Drum Master, but with a twist.
There's the box after the original layer of sealed plastic was taken off, then I opened it.
No disc, no sticks, no drum, just a bag of sugar.
I was curious, have there been any other instances of this, or just some desperate employee? |

That sucks...I mean, my mom was lucky enough to find the absolute LAST iPod available in a 20 mi radius, and if there was anything other than what was supposed to be there, i would have killed someone.

100% sure, because the plastic was still sealed from the store, as the really annoying security tape at the openings of the flaps on the box. |

Wow, that's really gay. The other possiblity is that someone bought it, took it out, returned it, and CC was dumb enough not to check inside and just put it out for sale again. Get your money back and then go buy it at Best Buy. _________________

Wow, that's Domino Sugar from Louisiana. How does someone go about returning a bag of sugar to a video game store? The store may assume the customer is trying to scam and refuse. _________________

Dude! That sucks! I have a feeling I know what happened, though. Here's another example of such an incident. This guy bought a wireless router from Wal-Mart, only to find a bag of dirt with the word "Puto" (Spanish for "faggot", "manwhore", etc.) written on it in the box. Some people actually go through the process of buying an item, opening it, taking it out, and then refilling the box with something of similar weight (though I'd think the Taiko Drum Master set would weigh more than a bag of brown sugar o_O) and shrink-wrapping it again. They then return the item and get the refund. It's a very complicated way to steal, basically. The link I posted almost seems like it's a joke at times, but I've heard of other instances where people found things like bricks in stereo system boxes. I can't believe someone would do that with Taiko Drum Master! |

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

Wow, that's "F"ed up, man. Now that I'm aware of this, I'm going to start shaking anything I buy that comes in a box for weird sounds. _________________
