OK, theres a CF, a blueshark, and the rest are TX 2000 clones or the like. No one metal ebay pad will outdo the other much.

get bluesharks if you want arcade sensors or CF's if you want sheet metal

the CF doesnt have a bar, but you could built one so you'll have a long lasting pad and a bar. Marquistadorous, the tx3000 doesnt have a bar. the tx5000 is prolly the one you're talking about. the tx5000 is very crappy because the surface it 100% flat making it impossible to know where u are. also it is very very unsensitive. a flat soft pad is more sensitive than the 5000, and you cant take apart a tx5000. so if it breaks you cant fix it unless its a cbox prob.
the tx2000 is probably just as crappy as a tx5000, that is if you dont mod it. the tx2000 uses the crappy foil contact system. after about a month of use the foil will have burned out giving it non working arrows. you can prevent this with the sheet metal mod. also the crappy acrylic arrows will crack after intense usage, you can make your own lexan arrow panels so you wont have cracking panels. the sensor is in the middle of where the arrow panel. because of this you have to step in the middle of the arrow to get it to work. the bar on it is terrible. its very loose and if you use it you might have the dance pad topple over and/or the bar will snap. you can buy bar reinforcers to prevent the bar looseness but i hear the bar reinforcers snap over time.
the bluespark uses arcade sensors which is cool. and it uses 12mm thick arrows which is more thick than the panels other metal pads use. so far the people who bought it gave it a good rating.
the tx6000 has stainless steel arrow panels which wont crack but they might bent (but these panels will last longer than the acrylic ones the tx2000 uses), this can be easily fixed with lexan panels. it uses foil contacts which might burn out. the piece of foil the 6000 uses is bigger than the one the 2000 uses. the tx6000 is also 3 platform compatible, ps1&2,xbox,and pc. the 6000 also has bigger sensors than the tx2000. the people who bought tx6000s and 4000s (tx4000 is the same thing but not as thick and no bar) had said that they're good and not crappy like the tx1000s and 2000s.

if you have a lot of money get 2 cobalt fluxes and built bars for them. if you cant afford fluxes get a pair of tx6000s and do any mods you have to do. if you cant afford a pair of tx6000s or CFs then get a pair of tx2000s and do a lot of mods to them OR get two soft pads and do the softpad mod found somewhere on ddrfreak website.

EDIT: the "matrix" pads r probably the same as tx2000s but cost more money.

just to clear it up, the pads he mentioned that used arcade sensors are called the blueshark (the bluespark is another mymybox pad similar to a pre TX-1000)

From my understanding, the bluespark (with a P) was a pad I saw floating around on ebay as well as the my my box store. Its no longer at my my box, but heres an old auction:
