I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

I'm quite inclined to believe this is fake. A seller with no feedback, no history, and no credentials or evidence that he has any sort of authority to possess or auction this item... no announcement from any official party that I've seen... a stock photograph stolen from Konami's website of a brand-new machine... no reason presented to believe this is real... heh. I guess you get to see the "official documentation" only after you buy the item.
Fake/10
Probably the producers of the video paid an arcade to let them film on site (or rented out the entire arcade for the day), and although the arcade could certainly try to sell the machine afterwards, there's no evidence presented that that's the case. No photograph of the actual machine at all, just a stolen marketing photo. No name of the arcade, nothing. Was the one in the video even a Fusion? I didn't get a good look at it.
Oh, and he spelled Madonna wrong. _________________

i've never been a fan of madonna, so i wouldn't have known how to spell her name. i spelled it the same way it was spelled in the listing. i guess if the seller cannot even spell her name right it is even more evidence of it being a fake. _________________

Yeah, I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about the fact that the seller spelled it wrong in the auction title itself... as the final nail in the coffin of any belief that this thing's real.
Also, if this really came from the arcade where the video was filmed, I think they'd be a little bit more familiar with it than to call it something completely stupid like Konami Arcade Dance Machine "Fusion". |
