Just curious, when I play, I tend to go up on the balls of my feet, granted i'm not galloping or doing too many cross-overs. my grandpa (he's 64 and STILL manages to play, not very well but he does!) tends to stomp more than nessicary and swear a lot LOL

I sadly carry on conversations with myself when playing sometimes like "Ooo, better watch yourself there" or "Ok, here's the fun part" or my personal favorite of "Not bad, not bad, need work on the PA though". I also sing to some of the songs I know or hum them if they have no words, fortunately, whether you believe it or not, I can sing or hum in tune. I have been known to dance and say stuff like

"We are the Cartoon Heroes, whoa! We are the oops I missed that!" With "oops I missed that" to the rhythm and melody.

So yeah I'm kinda weird, and if you see a guy humming LoM right before he selects it in your arcade, it could be me.

I occasionally do the "here's the fun part" thing as well. I also sort of hop in rhythm before a hard song (R&P is a prime example).

If I do any repeated crossovers, then my arms swing wildly, often hitting the person next to me.

I probably have two weird quirks when playing ddr.

1.) When it comes to playing my two favourite songs which are healing vision and healing vision: angelic mix I do the sign of the holy trinity like you would at the begiining of church before the steps for the song come on. Sounds funny I guess sometimes I take the angel mentality a little too far, but its my own little ddr identity.

2.) When it comes to playing V (for extreme) I like to pretend to play air violin, since its such a cool song full of violin and piano chords.

I tend to tune out of what I'm doing and actuall go onto a whole different subject...

"Did I lock my car?!?1...She's cute...Hey, I'm Triple A'ing this...DAMNIT!!!"

Actaully, most of my AAA's happend when I wasn't even thinking about what I was doing.

Ditto.

That, and I play better slightly inebriated.

My right hand takes on the form of a claw when I'm really concentrating on a song. Weird, much? Sometimes if I really like the song I'll start "hopping" and bouncing between the steps, like I'm dancing.

i like to hit people with my car as im playing DDR. It's hard to do, but really fun!

When i do Bag, i dance like someone doing riverdance...
I also tend to have conversations while playing (had a conversation recently with someone about the differences between DDR and PIU while playing PSM...)

Slightly? E10.gif (Apparently I'm kind of the same way, hello So Deep and R&P, although I wasn't bad at all)

My arms tend to not move at all while I play.

I tend to move my arms around me to keep balance in catas or streams, but sometimes, i use them to do like i'm flying (when i'm doin gallops example), i just look like a bird ( letting my arms goin up and down ) and when my sister pass aver my room or rarely in arcades, they look at me like -> disturb.gif

Another Quirk is that i tend to try to sing japanese song, even if sometimes i don't know the words wich are sayin (example : Sana molette ne ente, Miracle moon.......) That's funny E13.gif

Oh and one more thing, i usually at the end of a cata song (or 8 fotters it doesn't matter), if there is a jump, i make like a big jumb in the air while doin a little figure and stomp on the last jump E1.gif

Well... I can't freestyle yet, but I've played Para Para Paradise. So I do some random hand movements before songs. And in the middle of easy songs. V is like... awesome for that, with those freeze arrows. Providing I can actually hold them down...

And yeah, I sing like most songs if I'm not out of breath and know the words.

Oh yeah, I too, sometimes get the urge to see if there's a crowd around, too. Nine in ten chance there isn't, but ah well, makes it easier on me if/ when I fail the last song.

I yell fuck whenever I get greats. But that's just me.

Oh and inebriation works wonders.

My friends used to say that I look like a reverse bobble-head. My head would be really still but the rest of my body is moving really fast. I'm not sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing...
