Looks like a DDR clone with only hip-hop/rap music.

Looks absolutely terrible. $20 says that the hardest difficulty won't even be as hard as Standard. _________________

That's not all...
A huge flow of different type of controller games are coming out, all simulating the actions in the games, meaning DDR is getting a bunch of really cheap plug-and-play games being formed.
My personal least favorite is currently...
http://www.toyimpact.com/toys_toys-by-brand_bratz-dolls_lookin-bratz_mga-26813-0.html
Yes, my friends, that is a knock off of DDR using Bratz.
Pardon my language, but what the f*ck.
At least DDR's gettin the publicity it diserves...unfortunately it's not actual DDR, but perhaps it'll affect the DDR community all the same. _________________

I saw a commercial for that the other day. It was hilarious, in an idiotic sort of way.
The girl was playing in shoes...on a soft pad. _________________

Not to mention she kept returning her feet to the middle. I know people are new at one point in their lives, but if they're gonna do a good job advertising it on television, at least make it look entertaining...
Or maybe it really is at that level all the way through... where would be fun in getting better at that?
Gyah... I'm somewhat sick of DDR clones, but only the ones that act like it's their original idea. Well... okay, I pretty much don't like any version of dance games other than DDR (duh), Stepmania, and possibly Mario DDR. And I 'spose ITG could also grow on me if I let it, but I'm not gonna start ranting on that... especially considering I don't know a whole lot anyway... |

Wow, I just got done looking at the screen shots....I have only one reaction *gag*!
None of them show anything more challenging than beginner mode on DDR. If that's all the game has then I can imagine getting sick of it really fast. _________________

i hope this goes up in rental places. this looks like crap, but i though ITG was gonna be lame and it was good. this is a normal game though. all te other ddr clones are like plug 'n play crap or you look at a light up box.
i'll probably get it for a day then return it. i'll tell you how it is if i find it |

I'm sorry, but I almost fell over laughing at this...
Not to be offensive, and I wasn't laughing cause of anything offensive, I just immediately imagined someone like Yasu or something playin on one of the Bratz pads on a commercial.

You know, affecting it negatively... |
Meh, maybe somewhat, but also there's some possibility for positive output from this all.
I mean, as these kinds of games become more well known, it may cause more hype about DDR itself and cause for more to be done towards it. I'm not saying I expect Konami to reopen it's American Arcade section or anything, or whatever they closed, but maybe more home versions and such.
Also, it'll make it more of a commonly known and accepted thing and perhaps all the DDR-player-bashing will be reduced as a result.
Or maybe I'm just overly-optimistic. Who knows. _________________
