1. Don't post the same topic multiple times.
2. You also have to have the MP3 that the .dwi was created for. Not just any MP3 for the song will work, it needs to be an exact copy of the MP3 that the .dwi was created with or else it'll be out of synch. This can be corrected, but it can be a chore. This is why MP3s and DWIs are usually distributed together.
3. The DWI and MP3 need to be inside a directory named after the song, which needs to be inside a group directory insided your Stepmania song directory. i.e. in the format:
<StepmaniaDirectory>\Songs\<Group>\<Song>
For example:
C:\Program Files\Stepmania\Songs\Crap\Poorly-Synched Anime Theme Song
In the example, "C:\Program Files\Stepmania" is where Stepmania is installed, "Crap" is the group that you want the song to appear in in Stepmania (you can call it anything), and "Poorly-Synched Anime Theme Song" is the name of the song. That's the directory you put your MP3 and DWI in. |
