First of all, There is no ignition 4.0 Period! some ebay sellers made up the numbers such as ignition 4.0 .
If you go to mymybox.com website, you can find more detail information!
zipper style dance pad:
1. MYMYBOX Premium Dance Pad Ver 3.0
This pad has dense insert foam with 2cm Thickness. Heavier the Insert is the better one. This pad design is 6 button style. my friend bought cheap ignition pads off ebay and it is not the same as redoctane or mymybox pad. http://www.mymybox.com/ddrmxdxv30.html
2. MYMYBOX Deluxe Dance Pad Ver 2.5
This pad is about the same pad as 1. except for the design and insert foam. This pad design is 8 button style. if you look at the design color top left and right is green and bottom left and right is silver color. knock off product on ebay has both green on top left and right and bottom left and right. http://www.mymybox.com/ddrmxdxv25.html
3. RedOctane Ignition Pad 3.0
The most important fact: Ignition is the property of RedOctane. This ignition name only can be used on RedOctane pad. If you are looking for ignition pad, then you need to go to www.redoctane.com to find more detail informatmion of Ignition 3.0 Dance Pad . http://www.redoctane.com/ignitionpadv3.html
If you are looking for the pad name after ignition, it must be RedOctane Product. If you are looking at the name called deluxe or premium pad, then it must be the mymybox product!
RedOctane ignition pad 1.0 = similar to MYMYBOX Deluxe Pad Ver 2.5
RedOctane ignition pad 2.0 = similar to MYMYBOX Premium Pad Ver 3.0
RedOctane ignition pad 3.o = would be ? similar to MYMYBOX BlueShark Deluxe Pad.
As you said, if you are looking for mymybox deluxe 3.0 or ignition 4.0. My answer is "There are no mymybox deluxe 3.0 and ignition 4.0 dance pad. People just made up their name and numbers. |

premium pad 3.0 has 8 button funtions with 6 button style design!

If you play alot, then you want have your dance pad to be more stayable. since it has heavier insert foam and non slip dance pad botom. it is better. I like the dense insert foam. however, some people like soft insert foam.
If I were you , I would go with premium pad 3.0 |

Sorry for the bump, but I didn't want to make a new thread when this one is basically the same thing.
Anyway, would buying the MyMyBox 3.0 be a good decision? I'm not looking to spend over a hundred, and I've only heard bad things about the Ignition, so I was wondering what you guys thought about this one instead. Any input would be much appreciated. |

If you can find 2.5's cheap those I know are good, so you could check that.
2.5 uses a softer foam while the 3.0 uses harder stuff...
The key to letting your pads last long unless you have an Ignition 3.0 which I would reccomend returning as you read this post is taking care of it, not throwing it around and just leaving it flat. Don't store it upright either.
If you can swap the foam with a wooden board, as long as its ok with your feet since you shouldn't be playing with shoes.
If you find tears on the inside of the pad(the "bottom of the pad" that meets the foam insert) immediatly cover with duct tape.
