Both pad and control box are male. Changer doesn't work!

Hi, I purchased some cheap metal pads off of eBay and the control boxes broke quick. They were female boxes. I posed a question here as to which boxes to get to replace them. Somebody said get these:

So I did and waited for them to come in. But they were male ends, like the cheap metal pads I purchased.

So I purchased a 15 pin gender changer. Waited for it to come in. But with it pluged in the left and upper arrows stay on always.

What should I do now?

Bump. I'm having the exact same problem. Same box and all.

Those control boxes aren't worth a thing. If you can't accept that the pads are indeed worthless, you could always get a cheap 3rd party pad and solder up the connections manually. Sorry, but that pad is worth less than the hassle of throwing it out.
