I need anyone who has had this pad to give me their impression. I'm probably going to get one (they look sexy) and I'll probably mod it, but I'd still like to know the quality compared to others.

dont get those vortz pads because they are crappy TX-1000 and TX-2000 clones. modding will make it better, but it isnt worth the time. for modding you'll need lotsa lexan/polycarbonate/plexiglass, sheet metal, foam, CAT5 wire, some duct tape, probably soldering

Try to find the arcade pads that will link into your PS2/Xbox. My friend went through 6 rails in a month with the TX-1000 and TX-2000 pads.
