Hey all, could someone please give me the list of songs on the Nightmare marathon in order and tell me the mods that each of the songs have? (preferably hard and expert) I want to recreate the same mods in the game for stepmania! Also, is there some sort of battery system where you have to miss a considerably less amount of steps, or is it just normal only with crazy mods and non-stop action? I've never actually played ITG at the arcade yet. Thanks!

Oh..and if you happen to have a link to a website that lists ALL the marathon courses and their mods, that would definately work too! E1.gif

Don't bother, just wait until someone releases a .crs file. Anyway, the mods are too blurry to read on all of the Nightmare videos that exist. The songs though are Energizer Hard/Expert, Bloodrush Hard/Expert, ! Hard/Expert and Vertex^2 Hard/Expert.

And on all the songs they go reverse about halfway through...normally on a pause in the song.

your best bet is to get a video of someonce playing the marathon and figure out the mods fromwatching it. By the way, I made a thread in the simulator forum asking how to put mods into courses in stepmania. Could you reply to it, if you know how?

here are some notes of the mods in some of the songs:

Note: Hide Targets, Hide Judgement are present the entire course.

energizer:

- Beginning of song has 20% beat.
- At the slowdown, reverse, fade in, and 3x? for most of the slowdown, until the very end. The reverse continues through the end of the song.

vertex^2 - mirror the entire song.

In itg, the effects of modifiers can be increased or decreased. For example, %50 dizzy will result in slowly spinning arrows while %200 will give quickly spinning arrows (like in the beginning of bloodrush).

Check Cyric's faq at gamefaqs.com on ITG (Home). The listing of ITG 1's course mods are there.

hah, nobody plays marathon at your arcade.

Nightmare normal isn't that bad. If you can pass Energizer hard reverse, maybe reverse drift hide targets, then you should be good for the first and second songs, because Bloodrush is easy. Next challenge is ! fade out hide targets float. Oh yeah, and practice all the songs on the same speed mod... probably 1.5x, unless you like reading 1110BPM scroll rate at the end of VerTex^2.

Anyway, if you can do that, then you should be able to last to VerTex^2. After that, though, it's anyone's game.

(I'm totally oversimplifying the mods, btw... those are just the general ideas of what the hardest mods in each song are.)
