I bought a MX-1000 metal pad from ebay that the seller described as being brand new but the left and down arrows don't even work. I haven't gotten a response from the seller about my problem and worse, I threw away the box it came in. What should I do if I still get no response and where can I find a box big enough to put the pad in if the seller does tell me to ship it back?

| Always, always, ALWAYS test the merchandise before you throw away the boxes and invoices. Secondly, where you can get a box...might wanna try the UPS store. |

Report the seller on eBay if he doesn't reply. You are almost certain to get your money back, or eBay force them to supply a new one.
(and then bid on my auction for the DDRDeluxe pad  ) |

If I don't hear back from him by Tuesday, I'll report him to ebay. Unfortunately, I gave him positive feedback. Argh!
As for the box, it was just taking up too much space and after I had a bad day at work on Wednesday, I put it up against the wall and started punching and kicking it. This was before I even found out the pad was busted.

Another way to solve the problem is contact manufacture!
manufactures usually provide the technical support!

You sure it's not one of these: the TX-1000? If so, it could actually be new and still not work. (I've had the displeasure of playing on one of those.) But... given that it's ebay... who knows?

If the person doesnt respond or they do and for some reason you cant send it back or they wont let you or ebay doesnt force open it up and see if theres anything you can do might be a minor problem that you could fix by urself you never know

You might wanna try checking out the problem more and try to fix it. For example, take off the 2 arrow panels and check the wires cause there might be a break, and clean the sensors. Ive had to solder (reconnect) a couple broken wires when my arrow stopped working on my metal blue spark pad and now it works great!!!  |

The saga continues. The seller shipped a new pad and I received it on Wednesday. This time, it was the up and right arrows that doesn't work. I was so pissed, I nearly broke my knuckles punching the thing and I was about to take a sledgehammer to destroy both pads and toss them to the curb for the garbageman to pick up, but then my dad said he knows how to fix those things.
If I complain again, the seller's not going to resend another pad and if he does, will the up and down arrows not work this time?

How did you pay him? Paypal? If so, just threaten to do a charge-back of funds if he refuses to send out another one to you. I bet he'll make sure you receive a working pad then. |

keep both pads and just solder up the wires
youll have a atleast 1 working metal pad for atlest a wek before the generic TX peices of trash fall apart again
