how about the same metal that is used on the off-panels?
How about treated glass (with the plastic covering ie "bulletproof")

Hi Controllers forum. For the record, I used Lexan in mine (which is the same stuff used in bulletproof bank teller windows, commercial airline cabin windows, etc., though obviously not as thick as those).
