DDR Arcade to PIU Arcade. Need some info.

I was just wondering, but what all would be needed to convert a DDR extreme cabinet to a PIU cabinet. Thing is, I have an empty cabinent but I want PIU. I know it's possible, I just need to know what all it will take.

Besides the pads, of course.

Heh, good luck. You need the entire inner hardware, the speaker converters to hook it up to the new hardware, the pad, the light controllers, and a lot of everything....

Its going to be virtually impossible. Buying everything seperately would cost just about as much as getting an old Pump machine and upgrading it.

Praytell where you aquired your empty DDR machine?

Haha, well, the speakers are taken care of. But damn, that much? Crap...

Oh, and a local arcade closed down, and I knew the owner and asked him if I could have the cabinent, and he gave it to me for 50 bux.

You would need the PIU Pre Exceed to Exceed 1/2 kit. BUT, I honestly dont think it will work. Im not quite sure if PIU is jamma or not. If it is, it might have a different wiring diagram.

You would need a whole bunch of new equipment. Honestly, it isnt worth it at all.
