How do I create unlock data to make Expert steps in certain songs unlockables in Stepmania?

Hello?!! Is anyone listening?!??!! I need help on programming the unlock data for Expert steps. At least tell me if it's possible or not, or where I could go to get that information. I would sincerely appreciate at least one response.

Thanks for responding. Well, I suppose that I will play around with the stepmania unlock data until I find a way to hide Expert steps. Either that or just create a duplicate of a simfile without the Expert steps and using it as default while locking the original. If that's the case, can someone help me on finding out if it's possible to reverse the unlock effect by using negative values to lock a song after a certain count?

Only if you make the expert steps in a completely different file.
