You have too many greats to get an A (or AA if that's what you wanted) grade on B4U Light. The Star simply means you got a Full Combo.

no, letter grade are VERY dependant on Perfects. You could full combo but have all greats and then you'd get a C

I've gotten a "D*" before. I got Great on all the regular steps and all "N.G." on the Freeze arrows.

and if you go into training mode and FC one measure of a song, you get a D*. I find that amusing.
