Ok, if this doesn't belong here, just delete it and I'll get the message.
Ok, so today I was updating my Computer music collection. Meanwhile, I was on DDR Freak and another board (also PHPBB2). So I was posting in DDR Chit Chat on the "Song you would like to see in DDR" thread. I had a detailed list of about 40 songs, which I had spent the past 30 to 40 minutes on. I then heard the classic iTunes beep, notifying me the cd i was importing was now done. I then ejected the cd in the tray, and inserted a new one. After the new cd was in, I went back to the DDR Freak page, and the form to post in was blank. I tried ctl-z, back, and refresh. Nothing worked. It just disappeared.
So later I was on this other board, where I was posting in a thread for funny stories. I had about a page worth of a funny story I had just improvised. Once again I heard the iTunes beep, and inserted a new cd. It had not occurred to me earlier that that might had been what caused it. I mean, there would seem to be no connection between your cd drive and a forum posting form. But once again, everything I had just written wa gone. I one again tried everything I could, and nothing helped.
So, I'm kinda ticked off, I lost quite a bit of info. So just curious if anyone else has experienced this. |

That does not happen to me while I'm importing stuff to iTunes. =/ _________________

Not our problem, sorry. That's a system problem. You don't even mention what web browser you're using. That's highly relevant (though it still won't affect the fact that it has nothing to do with us).
You can sometimes recover text typed in a field by hitting Back and then Forward in your browser. Ctrl+Z is Undo, and if there was any recoverable text in there to begin with, hitting Ctrl+Z and/or Refresh would probably have killed it to begin with. _________________
