A friend of mine tried to install Stepmania, but when he runs it, he gets the following error message:

Quote:
This application has failed to start because MSVCP71.dll was not found.


Neither of us has any clue what the problem may be. It runs just fine for me. We're both running Windows XP, if that helps.

Download the above file, and put it in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM

That should solve your problem.
