I have had my mymybox metal dance pad for about a year now and just recently I have been having problems with it. The button presses are not registering. I just cleaned the pad thoroughly and nothing has ever been spilled on it. I'm fairly certain the problem lies in the electronics.

Can anyone give me some tips on what to check for? I have a multimeter and every button press is completing the circuit so it has to be in the plug. Any tips/suggestions?

it could either be your control box or bad wiring inside of the pad, if it is the latter your pretty much screwed.. dont try taking the pad apart, i did and got a huge slice in my finger =\

tx/mmb pads are just badly made.. its too bad but consider yourself lucky it lasted a year erm.gif

fixed it!

I narrowed the problem to the circuit board or plug. I then checked the "make your own pad" thread. I used the existing pad and soldered the wires from each arrow to an old playstation controller I bought from EB games for $2. Now I have a working mymybox biggrin.gif

Problem solved by another thread, thread locked. Oh, and for future reference, there's a thread for MyMyBox metal pads.
