IIDX KOC Problem

I got one of these babies in yesterday and have been playing nonstop.

I did the slipmat mod, and I'm just curious how tight you guys keep the screw. When i spin it sometimes, it makes a noise similar to that of a goat, which is somewhat disturbing.

This is what happened to me after I did the mod. Except after I did there was still little pieces of tape stuck to the O rings. That causes that noise. See if your O rings are clean.

The o Rings shouldnt need tape to do the mod...

Anyway, everyones KOC does this, mine does, a few people on BStyle report that it does. Infact, id make it a smidge looser for it to not sound so scratchy. IMO, this mod cuts down on the noise anyway, and i only hear it when i *really* scratch the thing.

Well, I taped them down on the wax paper like it said in the mod guide on Bemanistyle. But after I did clean my non waxpaper O rings, the sound did go away.
