[u][b]EXTREME NEED OF HELP: both sensed but only pressed one

I have a hard/soft ignition type pad with super dense foam. I've been having a problem when I step on arrows. For example, when I step on the right arrow, the left arrow seems to be sensed as well. My intuition says my force on the right arrow is causing motion from the foam or pad which ends up pressing the left arrow. This happens quite frequently, and it's really annoying.

Any hints or suggestions to stop this? Please!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm desperate!!!

try turning dance play on (or is it off) in the options menu, that should do the trick. Unless you are playing US Extreme...
