I have a 1.5 year old BNS Extreme pad that broke when I let a friend borrow it months ago. I finally am back at my folks home to try it out again, and realize it isn't working. This is where it gets funny...

the lights on the control pad light up perfectly whenever any button is pressed down. So the sensors are fine, and the electronics in the pad itself seem fine (I took the control pad part apart, and everything looks normal). I am assuming the actual plugin itself is where the data cable is loose... that's my thought anyway. I'd imagine my friends pulled the cable too hard and it broke loose. I don't know enough about the PS2 controller architecture to know which line is power, and which are data. I tried pulling the damn thing apart to work with it, but I can't seem to get it to open (how on earth do you do that???).

Anyone have any ideas? I'd like to play ITG this summer...! biggrin.gif

Get a CF, because BNS and RO were really good, they're quality is inconsistent nowadays so I wouldn't recommend buying from them. Or if you're gifted with tools you can go into the control box and the wires and check for disconnected wires.
