I recently got DDR Mario Mix (Japanese) for my Gamecube.. I figured, OK, I'll buy 2x Joybox adaptors (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8203480502) - but to my horror, they only work for Dual Shock controllers, and NOT with my Red Octane 2.0 dancemats! Any ideas guys? |

Umm... when you buy an adapter you are supposed to make sure that it works with Dance pads. In the item description it should say "Works with dance mats" and this auction does not. I'm thinking you are out of luck. They sell PS2--> Xbox and Gamecube adapters at one of the computer stores, maybe CompUSA or some other store like it. Try one of those. |

Hmm well, i didnt know that the shape of a control pad could determine whether or not is was going to be compatible. Stupid me for using logic! I already know it doesnt work (thats why I'm posting), I was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on "why"?
As a warning to everyone else, do NOT buy "Mayflash Cube Joybox GC001" product if you're looking to get dancey on your gamecube! I bought 2.. neither work with dancemats, and one doesnt even with with normal PS2 pads! |
