When I play, I dont care about anything else until the song is over. If the phone rings, the answering machine will get it, if someone knocks on the door, they can wait, etc. what I want to know is what is the most extreme thing you have ever ignored/ not noticed while playing.
One time I was doing Afronova on standard at home and when the jumps came the floor shook (I was 260 lbs at the time) and the shaky plant stand that I put my water bottle on fell over and almost hit me, but the water bottle burst open and water went all over the place but not on the pad so I didnt even flinch and just kept going humming about some stupid chicken pot pie. After I finished (got a AA) I immediately started yelling oh sh** and ran to get a mop. Now Im just waiting until the day something catches on fire while Im playing. I just hope it doesnt happen at the beginning of a song so I can put it out before it spreads. _________________

When I think about it, i'm rarely interrupted by anything when I'm playing DDR at home. I really the only person living in the house who plays it. I play in the basement and the majority of the time nobody else is down there when I am. Occasionally somebody may come down there to use the computer or something or they're just curious what i'm doing. But thats about it. I don't even hear the telephone while i'm down there.
So when I think about it, I'm usually able to play DDR peacefully. |

I hardly hear anything going on nearby, as I generate a lot of noise from the metal pad, not to mention my mental focus on the game. My friends and parents know to wait until the end of the song if they want my attention. _________________

When I'm at home, I usually play DDR fairly absentmindedly. I like to eat and talk on the phone ehile playing. However, if I notice that I'm doing really good on a song, I'll put anything and everything on hold until I finish. While at the arcade, I usually concentrate more, but i still like to talk while I play. Many times, the person I'm playing with will get pissed by how I comment on the the difficult parts of the song while I play. _________________

At home....pretty much anything can wait until I'm done with a song. But while I'm at the arcade sometimes its hard not to get distracted, because our DDR machines right in front of a window, and sometimes people wave, or do stupid things, or sometimes even people just walkin by the window distracts your attention just because you want to see if its anyone thats a potential player. |

I dont get that focused on the game cause I think to myself, its just a game and bad things could be going around so u gotta be careful with your surroundings as well... |

The first time I tried Paranoia Survivor on Heavy, I got to the freezes before I realized I was completely zoned out. And tired. As soon as I came to my senses, I failed _________________

Usually when I play, I'm completely glued to the TV, but if I have friends over, I will yell out "KEY CHANGE!!!" whenever there's a key change. Every single time. Sad, isn't it? I've also tried to eat and drink while playing DDR...I think I was on a 7- or 8-footer at the time. It, ah, didn't really work >.< _________________

Some of these guys though that jumped on the machine and did random stuff to make you mad. Lol I wouldnt keep playing Since my legs are already Worked up and Im all jittery while playing ddr if sombody made a move like that to me id just jump of my pad kick them in the stomache or punch them in the face really quickly and then If i havent failed Id keep playing =-P _________________

This is the longest runon sentence i have ever seen. To answer ur question almost nething can wait for me to finish a song. Except for my dad. If he calls me i have to immediatly stop and go see what he wants. He threatened to destory my game if i didnt go upstairs becuz once i just ignored him. _________________

I have full conversations mid-song with no hindrance. I do like to keep my cell on the table by the pad so that I can answer it last-minute if I can. |

Nothing really distracts me, but I would try to answer the phone if I do hear it, which is pretty unlikely anyway. |
