Just a question but have you ever really heard some of the songs on DDR or ITG? There awsome (some of them) but i wish there would be songs we like! Like maybe people that make these games should search up popular songs in America and Canada do u think so? |

I'm not quite following your question. Are you asking why there aren't more popular songs in DDR? If so, well, I'm sure everyone has songs that they'd like to see in DDR running the whole spectrum of genres from classical to trance and everything in between. However, there are numerous reasons why those songs never appear. Licensing costs too much or is just flat-out impossible, Konami/Roxor has never heard of the song, wouldn't really make a good DDR song, etc. Personally, it doesn't really matter to me because I've discovered a lot of new music I like through DDR and ITG. If DDR and ITG only contained a bunch of songs that I'd already heard elsewhere, I think I'd get bored of it much more quickly. |

On the subject of ITG, I'd heard Machinae Supremacy, KeeL, and Digital Explosion before I ever heard of ITG. Apparently, they were popular enough that Roxor decided to pick them up and employ their songs in ITG. DDR's home releases show that they try to find songs which are popular with American audiences. _________________

KeeL is the over-arching nickname of Kyle Ward, whose aliases include, but are not limited to, KaW, Smiley, Inspector K, Banzai, Symphonius (I think). _________________

Isn't Banzai Glenn Maynard... or however you spell it? I thought Glenn made Zodiac because of the "special" credits at the end.... ::is intruiged:: _________________

are you saying you like most of the songs in ITG and DDR but wish they would get more mainstream songs in there? cause thats what im hearing and i will answer this question to the best of my ability.
the problem with getting mainstream songs in the is license issues. i dont know all, or any, of the details of this process but apparently its more trouble than its worth. i mean, who wants to DDR (used as a verb just for that other thread on here somewhere) to "the reason" or some other stupid (in my oppinion) no beat pop (as in "popular" music, not as in backstreet boys and nsync.) song.
And my oppinion, mainstream american songs dont belong on DDR or ITG. i mean, people shouldnt be attracted to it because they hear their favorite song being played, they should be attracted to it because they
A: love music
B: love the concept
C: need exercise
although 'C' is debatable, that is the leading cause of people playing DDR and ITG, to lose weight. but im straying off topic so im gonna shut up now. _________________

I say that KeeL is Banzai, by merit of the fact that you can download both Anubis and Zodiac from his Ampcast site. Beyond that, I can't offer any supporting or conflicting evidence. The one alias I know *isn't* Kyle's is ZiGZaG; I forget the person offhand, but it's not Kyle. _________________

Nope.
Naoki M. works for Konami and makes songs that are 1:20-1:40 Naoki M. is an anagram for Konami. You can not find his music on the web, except for at places I shouldn't talk about because I'd be giving sites to find DDR music, which is illegal. So I will move on.
Kyle Ward was popular before In The Groove came out. Roxor took his songs, shortened down the long ones (like the originally super long Kagami) and put them into their games. This will presumably make Kyle more popular. Kyle W. is not an anagram for Roxor.
Random crap:
kyle has a soundtrack. I has kyle soundtrack. is looking at its now. buy it it rox. Utopia is not 6:46 on the soundtrak me likes it. Pande is a remix of his song indulgence. i would no. I have soundtrack. soundtrack has indulgence soundtrak rocs. Buy it. plez. I do not no y i am talkin like dis
O i c y u r a b
blah
blahblah
blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah
That's a large difference. Do not make this mistake again, or i might add on to this.
thank u very much! _________________

XeroCi probably just meant that Naoki and KeeL are similar in the sense that they both have a high number of songs on their respective games, and both utilitze multiple aliases, according to each genre of music. _________________
