I work at my public library and I suggested a ddr night... It's hapening in october. Also hey are getting red octaine ignition pads! w00t! riiight.gif

That's wonderful!
Congratulations on this achievement and event.
Where is the library located? It is good to include where this event will be held. Otherwise, most of us will not care, in fact, even with the location, most of us will not care, because we do not live in your area.

But I am happy to hear it worked out. Have fun on that night.

It would be most effective to put this into your respective regional board to get people pumped up and excited to come to this event.

But that sounds cool that you're doing it in a library. How did you manage to pull it off? And what mix of DDR are you using (PS2/Xbox)?

I just told my boss who runs the childrens department about how many teens in the area love ddr and how well it would go over. plus I gave her a reccomended item and price list. and just yesterday I found out it was go. also we are using a projector to put it onto a big screen.

Actually, my local one did this too (it's in Massachusetts.) However, even though we had a couple people bring in Ignitions and I made a thread in the New England forum, only five people showed up and they were all from the library gang, not anyone who came because of the post. frown.gif

That would be awsome if my public library did that but its full of old ladies who would hurt there self..... (sigh)

cool, my library in Cleveland did a DDR Night and tons of people shown up and i told the the teen librarian to do DDR every week in the school year and she said that she will try to have it. E1.gif
