ITG Fitness Mode Question: Calories??

I apologize if this has been posted anywhere already...I looked around but couldn't find the answer.

I like knowing how many calories I burn during these dance games...however it seems you burn calories MUCH more quickly from ITG than DDR....almost to the point it seems calories is calculated differently?? My question is: Are the calories burned accurate in ITG? I know the songs are longer, so you'd burn more calories than DDR anyway, but jumping from burning 25 to burning nearly 100 in a single song? I just figure you cut the calories in half to know how much I've actually burned, but I'd like to know if that's what I need to do, or if ITG is actually accurate.....????

ITG's Fitness Mode has a bug I believe. People think it's an incorrect decimal or something.

ITG2 also has this problem. Rest assured, last I heard, Roxor is working on the problem.

The ITG team has acknowledged that there is a bug in the calorie calculations. They have also said they can't patch it for ITG1, so here's hoping they figure it out in time for ITG2's console release.

My advice would be to ignore the calorie counts altogether and do time-based goals instead.
