Level 1: 100% Star Completions
1st select "records" then select "single summery". This area will list totall score for each dificulity as well as your star completion. Your overall grade will also be displayed. The totall points possible in the game are 328. Your score will be listesd as xxx.xx/328. The goal of the 100% Star Completion club is to provide a challagne to those that believe they can actually average a star rating overall (yes overall, including marathons). Good luck this should provide quite a challange for some you. For those of you whom think you have this in the bag, yet have only played expert sogns, you may be suprised at how difficult this challange is. You will most likly also notice that your FA will go up during expert play from playing all the songs on easy, medium and hard.

Level 2: 320 Game Points. For some of you actually earning 100% star completion may not seem like to hard of a challange. For these select few, try to get your game points all the way up to 320. Several of you who walked through the 100% star completion will be suprised at how much of an increase in skill is required to reach this much higher level of game play.

Level 3:323.23 Game Points. While only a few raw points higher than the level 2 requirements, this stage of gameplay will eliminate ALL players that have ANY weeknesses. can't pull double and triple stars on most experts? Can't do damn well on marathons? Can't come very close to quad staring easy medium and or hard songs? If not, then this level of game play is out of reach. Achiving this very difficulte challange can only be done by a very well rounded player that excells at ALL aspects of ITG.

Level 4:325 game points. The highest tear of game play that I expect any of you "may" achive. I have been considering finding a small prize to give to the 1st player that actaully can pull this immence challange off. Achieving a score of this level would be truly amaizing and can only be done by a player that has truly masterd all levels and aspects of ITG. Good luck to anyone who even trys to obtain the skills necessary for this level. I myslef am still a little shy of aquiring enough points to achive 325 game ponits.

Note Pad scores will say (pad) after the players name and Controller Aided scores will simply have the word (controller) after the players name. We will assume you are talking about playing on a pad unless you specifiy.

This post was very cool until that last statement. Although controller can't be proven to have not been used, it really takes the fun (and a lot of the challenge) out of the game.

I expect to be in the 320 club after I finish the marathons... I still have two dozen or so to go (counting both difficulties), and I'm already at 94.xx% Star Complete. E7.gif

EDIT: ...and NO CONTROLLER for me! I'm using a CF. E15.gif

Well, in response to the controller/pad problem, you could go and have separate brackets for pad and controller...of course, there's a possiblity of the cheater, but there really isn't any way around that for an ITG PS2 contest (no screenshots).

Yes. Now if only i could star pandemonium >.<

I just realized how hard this is gonna be. I have all the exper scores done and with everything but 2 songs starred *Pandemonium and Tell, i am already down 2 points from the possible total.

...And thats not counting all the easy/medium/hard/marathons. I've got a decent amount done, but there's no way in hell all of them will add up to less that a point.

....Great, im gonna break my legs and/or fingers, but i WILL do this...

Are you doing this on pad, or controller? If pad, what kind? All my scores are no bar CF, which I'm sure is harder than using the bar on a lot of various pads, and controller is a whole different story...

...and by the way I have 18 marathons left to play, and I'm now at 96.xx% Star Complete. I should be able to get them all done this weekend! E1.gif

EDIT: I finally finished all the marathon courses! There are about 5 that I ended up failing (hello, Breaking Point), but overall I did pretty well. my Star Complete is 101.1x%, and my Game Points are at 318.42. With a little more play, I think I can bump that up to 320 without much trouble.

EDIT #2: *award spoilers removed by ChessWhiz*

I can't spoil the suprises of the awards E1.gif

Congrats on joining the 100% star completion club! At the rate you are going you'll be the 1st to get to club 320. Keep it up, it only gets harder from here out E1.gif

Edit* btw, since you asked, I usually play by going to the arcade and playing with my feet. When I am sick (like I have been for the last week), or I just want to relax, then I play at home with a controller. I do reconize a major differance between pad and controller and thus you will note that I did not put myself on any of the lists even though I have the points.

Good thing.

Now i just need to fill in ALL of the blanks for easy expert and hard.

....i need more time on my hands >.<

Hot fire, you got 101.73 on Marathon Intense?!! If you did, then you are really kicking some a$s! That is an amazingly good score.

Not quite... if you read that more carefully, you'll see he has 101.73% on EXPERT Star Complete. Marathons are simply "pwned". E15.gif

I wish this was pad-only, though... comparing pad to controller play is just plain rediculous at best. Oh, and tonight I got the 5th "award". riiight.gif

Excellent idea! Controller-aided scores should definitely be marked as such (or get their own thread). Just be sure to amend this note from the first post:

I fail to see the point for having to differenciate between pad and controller, being that the higher up levels are, i'll go as far as to say LITERALLY impossible via only CF.

CF's lack the whole BAR thing that's necessary to get decent scores on the likes of anything 12 and above,

and yet, comparing foot-play to controller play isnt that lopsided whatsoever. A vast majority of the songs on itg home are MUCH EASIER in my case at least to FA on foot than on controller. It's like exchanging energy for a better score.

Example: Romeo & Juliet Expert.
Controller: 98.54
Flux: 99.22
Arcade: 99.68

Could of course just be me, but the slight lag of hitting arrows off the directional button causes me to get more excellents than stomping it myself.

....And of course, have fun trying to get a semi decent Breaking Point or Energy score on a CF. disturb.gif

I just dont see anyone doing this all *pad only* to ever break the 320 point mark.

I dunno, I'm finding my FA pretty good on controller. It just depends if you're good at CCR (or would it be CTG?) or not...

Then again, I can do 7s or 8s at the most :\

Chair. Ever seen the video of someone getting 95.35 on VerTex Expert at home, on a CF with a chair behind him?
