There's 46 Pages of Posts, so I apologize if this has been answered, and would willingly take a link to the appropriate thread if there is one.
I was pointed to This switch
http://www.channelbeat.com/products/parts/dance_dance_revolution_parts/115.html
And I was curious if anyone new if it was possible to wire this to a PS Controller to make a Home Hard Pad. If anyone knows or has information on how to do so, It would be much appreciated!
Thanks for your time

I don't know how those work, although they can't be better than the DDRHomepad way. Sheet metal+the high density weather stripping is proven to do the job perfectly fine, all the time. |

Sure, it's possible, as my friend Ninjafetus says, they're just wires in some sort of silicone enclosure. The problem is that it's prohibitively expensive. To properly emulate the DDR pad, you'll need four of those, per panel - that's $160 right there. Since my homemade pad holds up just fine with mending brackets, sheet metal, and weather stripping (not to mention far less costly to replace should something go wrong) for about $20 or so total in sensor costs, I'll have to give this a miss, 'arcade-perfect' or not. _________________
