Hello DDRfreak
My friend and I are planing to make a DDR/Pop'n music cabnet

Using
Stepmania
6 pop'n music buttons (four button gameplay)
Home built Cabnet or whatever
speekers
monitor or TV
Computer
blah blah

BUT heres my problem, Im looking to buy buttons.WHERE?!
I checked Coin Op express and you have to make a min order of $200.
I also wanted to know if anyone has done a similer project.

And if anyone was wondering if im planing to make money.
No, I realize this wouldnt exactly be legal, its for my own use.

So any ideas?

YAY!
Awsomeness...

And does anyone know where i can find a cab?
Not like a DDR cab tho, more like a IIDX or BM or even POP'n style

Hell, a avarage stand up cab would work fine.

~Edit~
Actually, my friend thinks IIDX Keys would be cool.
I Dont play IIDX or BM, >_< no machine, but I have played before and the keys are cool fealing, What type of keys are they.

And also, I have a TV I want to use, Will the picture be absoulty horrible on a S-video connection?

ahhh, good stuff...i've always wanted to try stepmania in a pop'n/bm style playing, where you have to move your hands quickly instead of fingers...

why not set the arrows up in the regular pad fashion?

Konami IIDX machines use Sanwas keys.
I don't know of any pop'n themes, but you can search some of the bemani related forums for them.
S-Video is great for cabs, I use it and there is "very" little quality loss.

You can always build your own cab riiight.gif
