Guitar Freaks 1st mix and Swap Magic

I was just wondering if Guitar Freaks 1st mix was compatible. I have something for PSone that allows me to play import games (I believe it is an old action replay peripheral), but when I start up Guitar Freaks, it has som screen with Japanese letters and a red circle with a cross through it. I am assuming it has heavy region protection. I just want to be able to play the game I spent $60 on. Does someone know if the first game is compatible with Swap Magic? Thanks. Also, if you know alternitive ways of playing it on my PSone or PS2 would help.

I already replied to your friend, Guitar Freaks, along with I believe EVERY Bemani game on PS1 is anti-mod protected (which is what that screen is). He'll need the anti-mod code.

Swap Magic is PS2 software. It won't work with any PS1 games.

Do you mean lessthanjaker123? That is my friend's username but I just use it. Can you help me find the anti-mod code? I have tried to find it but I don't know what to search under in google.
