So I have the same problem a lot of other folks have. My Level Six clone with the "no-slip surface" moves about the floor (as much as 10 ft. during catas.) I am sick of not finding the right place for my foot, or, worse yet, failing songs because I slam into furniture.
I do not want to nail my pad to a piece of plywood, because of portability. (I described this problem in more detail in another post. Basically, I want to be able to stow away the mat when I'm not using it.) So are there any other ways to "anchor" the pad temporarily? As in I can take it off when I'm done? I have experimented with different ways, but I am not a design-and-build type person and haven't thought of anything that works. |

I use duct tape for my pad but that's not really portable I'll let you know if I come up with a great idea.. |

Just do wat I did! Do the same thing that that one dude did to staple his pad down, but duct tape it down, like I did! Make sure so U don't tape the front down. Now u can slide it in and out with relative ease. Makes braking rocks seem such a breeze.
.......stupid DK rap.......
anyway thats wat I did. Now u can move yur pad out of its case wheneva! |
