What exactly are the rules for completing the World Record Challenge?
Isn't it something like only 30 second rest between each song and a 15 minute break every 8 hours?
As well, what is the restriction on the songs you have to chose? |

I believe some of the rules are as follows, although I'm not positive of all of them:
1) All songs must be played on heavy.
2) You play on event mode and get 30 seconds between each song.
3) You can take either a 5 minute break every hour or a 15 minute break every 3 hours.
4) You have to video tape the whole thing (if you want it to be an official record).
Again, these are vague memories, so don't quote me too much. _________________

The ones in bold are wrong the other dude that broke the record played in beginner mode most of the time.
You get a 15 minute break every eight hours _________________

Your shoes will be completely soaked as well, so you will need a few pairs of shoes. You don't want to play with sweat-soaked shoes and clothes. |
That might not b a bad idea but they really dont have time 2 change because they only have 30 seconds in between songs, but changing every 8 hours is a good idea. |

Is there a limit on how many times you can repeat a song?what about rules regarding failing a song? The longest I've DDRed is six hours, and my fatigue dragged me down from nine footers to seven footers, forty hours and I'd be on basic. OH well, Good luck. |

well guiness has not sent us the official rules, and the only way to get them is to send them 400 $. the point of this whole project is to raise money to bring a friend of ours back from russia for a summer. here is how we see it
- We will be doing beginner light and trick
- We will take 15 min breaks every 8 hours
- We will take up to 60 seconds between songs which will count as the total time
- We are going to go over 40 hours just in case the time in between songs doesnt count
- you are not required to paly all heavy's i'd like to see you play straight heavys for 5 hours with out collapsing douche |

15 min break every 8 hours is correct
also the 30 seconds between songs is correct
all songs must be on heavy difficulty or above
you must play EVERY song, before you can repeat one.
i have also heard you must do it on the same machine that the records were done on...which i believe was a Euromix2, that may be subject to change. Also i didnt hear anything about lifebar difficulty. concidering you cannot fail, this may be helpful in the later hours. oh and have fun with Legend of Max and Maxx Unlimited after playing for 20 hours. oh and just to let you know, there is a simple way of playing heavy for hours on end, without rest, learn to play like me and barely move. anyways, have fun you guys. |
