I could get a BM6 mini-machine for ultra-ultra-ultra cheap, and i'm really considering doing it. However, i play right hand on the keys, and left hand on the TT. This is a problem, seeing how old BM machines have the TT on the right on each controller.

Is there some way i can switch the side the TT is on? The last time i went and looked at the machine, i didn't even think of this, and it is not really possible for me to go back and check (nor go to another BM machine and check).

Play on 1P-Center then.

The only two drawbacks with 1P-Center option is that the turntable is farther from the keys (making pinky scratching, if you do it, harder), and that you can't play 2-player mode.

Yeah, center is where left-side IIDX players go on 5-key. On BM: The Final you get center by hitting the effector before pressing start and messing with the options. I dunno how you get to those options on older BM machines.

Not necessarily, I play left side 5-key and 7-key. I started playing BM left-handed, and every time I try playing 1P-center on 5-key, my hand just won't do it (at least on any version 5th Mix and earlier). I know a couple other people like this (or at least they'll play 1P-center for recent or harder songs). But I can't play 7-key left handed very well at all (so 14-key or right side IIDX is a no).

For 6th Mix, activating the Options screen is the same. When you hit the effector after you've entered your coins, a little menu at the bottom will pop up. Where it says "BATTLE," (I think it's the center white key), hit the corresponding key on the 1P side, it'll turn to "1P-CENTER."

BTW, you'll also want to enter the "ALL MUSIC CODE" as well, unless you're playing in FREE mode.
