Do you dream about playing DDR?

Whenever i start falling asleep i start seeing ddr arrows and sometimes it even wakes me up cause i'm thinking "I see the arrows but wheres the pad???". And once i fall asleep the only thing i gream about is playing ddr and watching other people play ddr. It's driving me insane!!!!!! Does this happen to anyone else?

I think you may just be playing a little too much. Sure if I'm really REALLY feelin' the DDR one night I might dream about it but for the most part no. You may want to talk to a psychiatrist if DDR is literally stealing your soul.

I've had the occasional arrow-filled dream. This was when I was still totally obsessed with the game, though.

Now I'm usually doing something in a place with a DDR Machine.

Here's a dream that I once had, I remembered everything too!!!
Grab a chair and hot cocoa and get set to listen.........

I was walking on the boardwalk in the downtown area of boston.
I came across this danky, dark arcade with alot of kids coming in and out.
I went in there, the usual fighting games were there, and also some 25 cents kiddie rides. At the very end of the arcade I saw 4 ddr machines!!
I hauled buttocks and ran to the end of the arcade and got some quarters and chugged them in. However, upon playing the first song, I notice something wrong. The pad, great god, the pad was small as hell. Like 2x3 feet small, omg I failed that song, and felt bad as hell. So I went to the 2nd ddr machine, I put in some quarters and began playing the 1st song. Then I notice something wrong with this pad now!! The whole damn thing is round and rotates!! I accidently fell off and failed the song........
The 3rd one I found out wasn't really a ddr machine, but a driving game with a dance pad hooked up to it, to use as controls.............
The 4th ddr machine, upon close inspection looks really good, there's nothing wrong with it, and most importantly the pad looks normal.
I played 3 songs, and passed all of them with AAs', however, in the middle of the 4th song the machine literally freaked out on me!
Sparks began flying out, and then the machine shuts down completely.

God damn that dream sucks..

I have dreamt that I'm playing ddr but the pad was inflateable and it was really hard to move around on it. But Ive never dreamt about seeing just the arrows.

I've had dreams about DDR like the one goodtimesddr posted... there's always something weird about the machines in my dreams. The one I remember most vividly is this one where I'm in an arcade that's on the second floor of a multilevel grocery store. They have DDR there, I think it's a 3rd Mix, so I go play it. I'm trying to select a song, and right when I'm about to start playing my sister comes over and switches the song over to some nonexistent remix of Have You Never Been Mellow with a difficulty rating of like 11 feet (and this was years before even 10 footers appeared) and starts the game. So I decide to play anyway (real WTF? moment here, since I could barely do 7 footers at this point in time), and as soon as I try to play the game, I find the platform is like a really springy cushion, and when as I try to hit the first arrow, my foot sinks into the platform. As it recoils, I'm literally launched off the platform. So I get annoyed and decide to go play Jaleco's DDR knockoff, Stepping Selection.

I've had other dreams where I'm trying to play half-broken games that say they're DDR, but they're not, as well as dreams full of Pump it Up machines. The PIU dreams are really weird since I've never played that game. In another dream, I saw a machine kind of like the driving game with a dance pad controller goodtimesddr described, except in my dream, it was Tekken 3 or Tekken Tag Tournament with DDR solo pads for controllers. There were two solo machines linked together, and it even said "Tekken Dance Mix" on the game's marquee. Argh, it makes no sense. ;_;

Ive had the re-occuring dream that i go to a mall and see this huge arcade, and they've got a DDR machine hooked up to a big screen...but when i go up to play....its like an inflatable pad filled with water. and is really hard to move around on!!!!!! and i failed and look really stupid infront of everbody.

i had a dream about ddr 1 time about me stealthing B4U (ZA beat mix) but when i got up that morning i remembered the step chart that had been in the song in my dream so i drew it out and checked it on here and it was correct, even though i had never memorized the stepchart. it was wierd. so now i can stealth B4U all because of my dream. i know its kinda hard to believe but its true.
also ill play ddr for a few hours and when i get picked up in the car i will close my eyes and rest and still see arrows scrolling. kinda cool.

i've had dreams were i played ddr at school and everyone is like wow i like you now and i'm like go frick yourself then i just continue playing. i think i've had dreams were i triple Aed songs but thats about it.

Sure, i get a DDR dream every once in a while, but my dreams are always so random. I get one only like once every 2-3 months or something. Some summarized examples:

Story #1: I am at a really wierd hotel with a group of people from school (like i said; random) and i go to the elevator. Everyone goes up the elevator, but then i find a secret button and go down. I end up in this really wierd, dark area, with no light except from the red glow of the EXIT sign. I walk around, banging into walls then all of a sudden, BANG, a full room of DDR Machines. I eventually stumble upon the power cables and turn them all on, then i woke up.

Story #2: I am being chased by the police on a cold winter day. My friends are behind me, with the police on theyre tail. I decide to take a turn off the edge of a hill and my friends follow. We then stumble upon an old, yet heated log cabin. We notice the police looking down from the top of the hill and we run inside. In the cabin: 4 DDR machines! then i woke up

Well maybe theyre not so summarized, but enjoy the show

Last night, I had a dream that was just plain WEIRD.

Our school was going on a trip to a roller skating rink, and there was a DDR machine there! My friend Justina and I put in our 5 tokens each. Once it got to the mode screen (Single, Versus, Double), we're both transported to a stage! The DDR machine was in front of the curtain---and we were behind it. Each button was projected onto the yellow curtain, and we had to operate it with our hands! We couldn't find Versus, so we just kept running around and hitting buttons until it accepted some mode called Little. The machine announced, "Little Mode. Let's go!" Arrows were on the curtain, but Justina and I couldn't read them at all. We just had to stomp around on the ground to "Saints Go Marching In" and some nonexistant song called "Choo Choo Train" without a dance mat and hope we could pass.

All of a sudden, I blacked out (in the dream). The scene cut to me on the couch, watching Fox 5 News. The newsperson reported: "Want to improve your scores on "Saints Go Marching In" and "Choo Choo Train"? Keep watching to find out, as we interview the DDR experts!"

...Then I woke up, thinking: "Wow. That was weird..."

hehe... I did last night. I had a dream that I was playing Twilight Zone and I "AA'ed" it. Which was kind of a nightmare because the dudes behind me came up afterwards and "AAA'ed" it. Afterwards, I ran down a hallway and got attacked by a zombie; Resident Evil Style!
