You should get another metal pad to match with your current one. |

That reminds me of how it looked when I first set it up with my desktop machine.
Lets just say that I didn't want to move my tower across the room every time I wanted to play DDR.
Also, I have that same HTML book. |

Agreed; or at least we should rename it "Post your Stepmania setup here." |

My case is an Aspire X-DreamerII. I'm planning on buying an X-Navigator later (the most expensive model of the X-Navigator, not the cheap ones). |

Here's how stepmania looks when I hook my computer up to our high-definition Widescreen TV via DVI cable:
Screw S-Video, that's so 90s. Now only if stepmania would support a widescreen mode everything wouldn't be disproportional... _________________

Have you tryed playing around with the aspect ratios in Stepmania (Appearence Options, I think)? I think there is a widescreen version (16:9). The default is 4:3. |

There are aspect ratio options in the cvs and smonline builds, however changing the option didn't do anything. (At least in the ones I used before) I got a custom build of SM from someone where the screen ratio setting actually works, but not everything is taken into account (like song backgrounds are stretched) and it's a custom build, so it's not feasibly usable. And unfortunately, themes look weird since they are designed with a 4:3 ratio in mind.
I sure do hope for future SM support of widescreen ratios and to see widescreen themes! _________________
